Jakarta, 18 March 2021 – Stellar Power Accelerator Powered by L'Oréal Paris has entered its final round. After going through 8 weeks of learning, a curation process attended by nearly 100 teams of women entrepreneurs, and a Demo Day which was attended by 7 finalists, the 3 best winners were chosen as winners in the 2022 Stellar Power Accelerator. More special, this year L'Oréal Paris as the official partner of the 2022 Stellar Power Accelerator program, gives a special award to women entrepreneurs with a vision and mission that impacts the environment, especially the women's community, through the special category Womenpreneur of Worth. This announcement was made during the Awarding Night, which also featured Samira Shihab (Founder of Stellar Women), Zhafira Loebis (Co-Founder of Stellar Women), Beatrix Oktaviani S (Product Manager of L'Oréal Paris) and Najwa Shihab (Founder of Narasi).
Samira Shihab on Stellar Power Accelerator said, "supporting womenpreneur in developing their business is part of Stellar Women vision since the first time it was founded. Also, the collaboration with L'Oréal Paris by giving funds to support them makes me so grateful to know the fact that there's a lot of womenpreneur that finally enrich knowledge and expand their networking through this programme.”
The Demo Day assessment itself has been carried out by considering the following criteria: background of business problems, unique selling points, pitching delivery, and potential for business development. Finally, the judges announced 4 winners entitled to receive business funding prizes with a total value of 60 MILLION RUPIAH.
The third place was won by Pasar Jasa as a one-stop solution platform that provides various types of services in Indonesia for consumers. The second place was won by Relink, a platform that focuses on environmental rescue missions by providing plastic bottle waste collection services that can be converted into household needs or into cash that consumers can disburse. Lastly, the first place won by Logika Kids as a business that focuses on providing educational toys for children to help facilitate the role of parents in improving children's cognitive abilities.

Furthermore, L'Oréal Paris also awarded a special category of Womenpreneur of Worth for women entrepreneurs who have business visions and missions in empowering the surrounding community, especially the women's community, in line with the spirit of "because you’re are worth it"
The Womenpreneur of Worth award was given by L'Oréal Paris to Recycling Village, a social enterprise, which empowers the women of Air Naningan Village in the production of handmade fashion accessories such as bags, wallets, pouches, and cardholders made of waste. plastic waste from household residents of Air Naningan village, Lampung.
Maria Adina, Brand General Manager of L'Oréal Paris explained, “L'Oréal Paris's vision is to strengthen the self-worth of women all around the world, which is a key contribution to women's empowerment. In line with the message “we are worth it” that L'Oréal Paris has carried for more than 50 years, We are strengthening our commitment with concrete actions to provide financial support for women entrepreneurs who have a big vision to empower the community. Within this action we also honored more women in business through the Womenpreneur of Worth award. We hope that more women entrepreneurs will start their businesses without worrying about any limitations, including funds. We are proud to announce Recycling Village as the awardee of this award for their dedication to empowering women by converting household waste into something that is more beneficial for the community.”
The excitement of Stellar Power Accelerator Powered by L'Oréal Paris doesn't stop there. An inspiring woman who became a role model for women, Najwa Shihab, is also joining this Awarding night as a special speaker to tell her experience and inspire the participants. In the ‘Discovering Your Growth' session, Najwa Shihab also supports women to be more confident in running a business and seek supportive friendships with fellow female entrepreneurs.
“Compared to men, women tend to underestimate their achievements more often. That's a mindset that we have to get rid of. The solution is we (women) need to learn more things so that we women have high self-confidence. Look for networks and circles that can be a support system when we feel doubtful about running a business because friendship and network are two valuable things in doing business,” said Najwa Shihab.
With the end of the Stellar Power Accelerator program, Stellar Women and L'Oréal Paris hope that women will get knowledge supplies to run a business and be able to run the business they have always wanted.
