IIX Foundation’s SHE IS MORE supports women across all stages of their journey to empowerment to transform themselves, their futures and to create a gender equal world.
Women are one of the key drivers of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By putting women at the forefront of capital markets, the world can move towards a more inclusive and climate-resilient future for all. However, this valuable segment of society is also the most vulnerable as many lack the necessary resources and even face adversities in their livelihoods to fully unlock their potential.
Equality must be achieved for men and women in all aspects of life. Societies thrive when all segments of the population have the same access to health and education to economic participation. This is not only a moral issue, but also an economic one to ensure the sustainability of the world.
IIX Foundation initiated SHE IS MORE to celebrate women’s value to the world through a global youth art competition, while also raising funds to improve women’s livelihoods and give them access to the tools and resources they need to have equal footing for a gender equal world. Ever since it was first launched in 2019, SHE IS MORE has raised over $97,000 raised for underserved women and communities through supporting education and healthcare initiatives. With this, IIX Foundation has impacted and empowered over 3,400 lives.
Take a look at some of the current and past beneficiaries for SHE IS MORE:
