Continuing the first part of A Love Story from Thailand: Even when death do us part... this second love story put money into the equation.
Do you think the amount of money your partner is earning will affect your love? Certainly, for 22-year-old Bangkok's model Nutchanart Chaichan and her boyfriend, Wutthichai Saeng-ngern, a 25-year-old moto taxi driver who earns around THB500 or US$15 a day, the answer is not.
Her story blew up on August 21 after it was shared on Facebook page YouLike.
“Why did I choose this man? Although we are different in every way, what we have in common is our love for each other,” Nutchanart wrote.
“Whatever you eat, I’ll eat. Wherever you go, I’ll go,” she wrote, directly addressing her boyfriend. “For us, you’ve taken every job offered to you. You never complain that you’re tired. When I’m with you, I’m happy.”
She slammed whoever mocked and teased her five years relationship with Wutthichai. Both of them has been going through hardship together, so anyone who only knows from what they see, shouldn't so quick to judge.
Nutchanart, who didn't expect her story to be popular, told that she met her boyfriend in 2013 in their hometown Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Then, they decided to move together to Bangkok, where they struggled because their first try in entrepreneurship by selling clothes and shoes in the Ramkhamhaeng area met failure. It was a while before he decided to be a moto-taxi driver and she got her modelling jobs.
An earning around THB15,000 (USD500) per month might not seem much, but Nutchanart stands strong with her man.
“I’m not ashamed at all. He’s doing good, honest work,” Nutchanart said.
The couple even admitted that they want to settle down and build their little family, if possible shortly.
Fingers crossed that they will last happily ever after like fairy tales!
