The 2018 AFF Cup will see defending champion Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines in the semi-finals.
Thailand, five times AFF Cup champion, will play against Malaysia, after beating Singapore 3-0 at the Ramanagala Stadium in Bangkok on Sunday night. Malaysia earned their semi-finals ticket after thrashing Myanmar 3-0.
The Philippines on the other hand will be up against Group A champions Vietnam for a place in the final, after a 0-0 draw with Indonesia. Vietnam beat Cambodia 3-0 to advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-final matches will be played over two legs. Thailand will face Malaysia on Dec 1 and 5, while Vietnam will face off against the Philippines on Dec 2 and 6.
Adisak Kraisorn of Thailand is the current leading scorer in the tournament with eight goals, four more than Malaysia’s Norshahrul Idlan Talaha.
