Some say, sometimes action speaks louder than words can.
Before, there is the story of a man loving his death girlfriend so much that he took her ashes in a walking journey lasted over 1,500 kilometers to fulfill their promise to visit the highest peak in Thailand. Then, there is this beautiful model and moto taxi driver couple who persevere their love, no matter how much the man earning is.
Those two stories are example of true love stories in the modern life of Thailand. Now, talking about true love, we can't single out the love a parent could have for their children.
This follows a story that came up on early August just before the Mother's Day celebrated on August 12. Schools in Thailand celebrated the day by having Mother's Day event before the date, since it fell on Sunday. The event is pretty much a simple one, a ceremony of the students giving their mom flowers to show their love and gratitude for the one who gave birth to them.
Even without a mother by their side, Chatchai Parn-uthai, who is a father and single parent, decided that he can be the mother. He attend the mom-exclusive event at Wat Trai Rattanaram Charity School in Kanchanaburi province.
“A single parent with two kids has to be able to do everything,” he wrote on Facebook while uploading several pictures showing him in a frilly, soft peach colored dress, complete with a cute ribbon hair clip. His son was seen showing respect and giving him a small flower garland.

A 12-seconds video was uploaded by Kornpat Ae Sukhom in Facebook captured the sweet moment of the happy son with his proud father, who fondly kissed his son's temple after he received the garland.
Coconuts reported that within six hours, the heartwarming video post quickly received more than 27,000 likes and 22,000 shares from smitten Facebookers. Some even jokingly commented on the father's way to show his love and support for his children, saying: “Mommy needs to shave his beard.” Now, a month later, the post has garnered more than 6.5 millions views and counting.
What Chatchai Parn-uthai did, also the two previous stories, have shown us that true love is not all about saying the sacred "I love yous", but could also come from a decision to wear pretty and frilly dress even though you are a man. Or, keeping the promise to people we love, even when death do us apart. Or, when money issues come into "love" equation.
