The 2018 Asian Games kicked off on August 18 and closed on 2 September. All preparations are nearing completion, especially facilities and infrastructure in 2 related locations namely Jakarta and Palembang. The Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA) has officially stated that there are 40 sports that will compete next year. Based on these figures, 10 sports including new ones are contested.
For those of you who are not too familiar with the first sport is competed in 2018, here is a more complete explanation:
1. Rollersport
Rollersport is one of the new sports to be contested at the 2018 Asian Games has mentioned above. This sport is legitimately the first sport to be introduced in Asia at the Guangzhou Asian Games 2010, after the International Olympic Committee (OCA) approved the addition of this sport at the 2007 Olympics.

2. Bridge

3. Basket 3 on 3
Different from regular basketball, this sport has total of 6 players only. One team consists of only four players, with three playing on the pitch.
The Basket 3 on 3 was first competed on the international stage at the Summer Olympic Games in 2010. 3 on 3 basket is still under the International Basketball or FIBA. The game will also be played at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
The 2018 Asian Games is the debut for the 3 on 3 basketball competition at Asia's biggest sporting event. 3 on 3 basketball can be regarded as a street game that developed in the United States in the era of the 1980's.
4. Jet Ski
Compared to other additional sports, jet skis are among the most familiar. For the designated venue, the only approved location is Pantai Indah Ancol. Although there is a delay in the construction of jetski venue for the 2018 Asian Games, but the workmanship is believed to be completed in time.
5. Pencak Silat
Pencak silat or silat is a traditional martial art originating from the Malay Archipelago. This martial art is widely known in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore, southern Philippines, and southern Thailand in accordance with the spread of various ethnic groups of the archipelago.
Pencak Silat includes one of the new sports that will be competed in the Asian Games 2018. In previous editions, Pencak Silat never entered the four-yearly event.
As a host Indonesia is entitled to add three sports. The one chosen is pencak silat. Indonesia has as chance to win many medals from this sport.
6. Jiu Jitsu
The martial arts of Jiu Jitsu have quite extreme elements such as wrestling, hard-attacks, biting, locking, and focusing on dropping enemies at the midpoint of gravity.

8. Kurash
Kurash is a type of martial sport that has the basic movement of slamming each other by hooking a special outfit. Kurash's sport originated in the Tatarstan region of Central Asia or now known as Uzbekistan.
The basic movement of the Kurash sport resembles martial arts wrestling and sports martial arts Judo, only in Kurash slam conditions are in a standing position on the top hook, are not allowed to use a hook in the foot.
9. Paragliding
Paragliding is a recreational sport that emphasizes the ability to control a parachute to fly. In Indonesia, paragliding is well known among extreme sports fans.

In a sport that is identical to the outdoors, every athlete will be tested for his ability to climb the cliff to its peak.
