There are many bridges in the world that are known to be unique and phenomenal. They have an aesthetic value and look like a very beautiful bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge in the United States and Helix Bridge in Singapore are the examples.
Recently, Vietnam just unveiled a new walkway in the Ba Na Hills that instantly become a tourist attraction, called the Golden Bridge.
Since it's opening in June, the Golden Bridge, which located in the central coastal city of Da Nang, has been attracting a lot of attention and receiving many compliments through social network channels and international media.
The bridge was designed to evoke the image of "giant hands of Gods, pulling a strip of gold out of the land". It creates a beautiful walkway in the sky, between the foggy and fairy-like lands of Ba Na mountain.
So, let's take a stroll through the 'hands of God'.
The bridge was designed by TA Landscape Architecture, a company based in Ho Chi Minh City. The company's founder, Vu Viet Anh, was the principal designer of the bridge.
According to Reuters, the Golden Bridge is nearly 500 feet long and sits 3,200 feet above sea level.
Photos above show that the bridge seems to be the perfect spot for Instagram and wedding photographers looking to get that one-of-a-kind shot.
The bridge is definitely a great backdrop for taking incredible selfies. This is likely to become a popular destination for tourists in Vietnam.
Actually, what makes the bridge attractive to tourists and locals is the unusual support pillar - two giant hands reach towards the sky.
"I feel like I'm walking on clouds," said Vuong Thuy Linh to ABS-CBN, a tourist from Hanoi.
"It's so unique." He added.
The pedestrian walkway sits at over 1,000 meters above sea level and extends over the treetops from the edge of a leafy cliff face, offering tourists a sight they have never imagined before.
Last year, Da Nang welcomed more than 6.6 million visitors, including 2.3 million foreign ones, which is an increase of 19 per cent and 39 per cent, respectively.
The bridge was considered as one of the world's most unique bridges by Archdaily. Archdaily is one of the world’s leading architectural news sites. It was also featured on the Instagram account of Street Art Globe which has 7.2 million followers. Its video on Street Art Globe had 1.4 million views and more than 4,000 comments.
According to a report by BBC, TA Landscape Architecture is planning to build an adjoining silver bridge that would resemble God's strand of hair. Anh stated that a silver bridge made to look like a god’s strand of hair that will connect to his existing structure in the Ba Na Hills.
